However, there are still numerous issues that come across when someone is hired, whether that person is a millenial or not. And when these people get the job and are working for ‘x’ amount of years, there is another issue: work performance. Many people get in a job and they don’t know what their objectives are. A recent survey by Robert Half showed that one-third (36%) of 1,400 executives surveyed felt that the top factor leading to a failed hire, aside from performance issues, was a poor skills match. The second most common reason (30%) was unclear performance objectives. This shows that executives think ambiguity in objectives is a significant issue.
